Position Description
Performs professional level work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by conducting classes on a per-course or limited-term basis, without any guarantee of continuing employment. Responsibilities encompass the coordination and instruction of one or more courses within a prescribed curriculum. Teachers in this classification usually specialize in the academic subject, professional discipline or technical skill being taught at the time of employment. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based upon results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees assigned to area of responsibility.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Responsibilities will be serving as a teaching assistant in the Gross Anatomy courses, specifically assisting with lab organization, student instruction, and student testing. Teach Assistants must be available weekday mornings from 8:00 to 12:00 and at least one afternoon on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00.

Required Qualifications
A degree that is appropriate to the level of courses being taught.
  • Will you be a May 2024 graduate of the OTD program at TTUHSC who has successfully completed HPOT 6510 Human Anatomy while within the OTD program.
