The Opportunity:

The Core Lab Marketing team seeks a visionary systems thinker to lead an impactful, enterprise-wide customer experience initiative. As the Sr. Marketing Manager for Accelerate PiPo, you'll drive the Phase In Phase and Phase Out (PiPo) strategy for North America (NAM), crucial for Roche's growth and innovation over the next decade. This role is a product lifecycle management role that helps enable customers upgrades from legacy to next-generation solutions, while creating manufacturing capacity for future innovations.

Job Facts:

  • Cross-functional leadership: Leads a diverse project team with representatives from Marketing, Sales, Roche Support Network, IT, Finance, Legal, and Logistics, aligning efforts to meet the PiPo acceleration goals in North America (including Canada)

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Prioritizes the Phase-in and Phase-out Program by co-creating strategic plans that drive demand, optimize patient and customer benefits, and maximize business value through metric-driven analysis

  • Data Transformation and Accountability: Converts complex data into clear strategies and actionable plans, enhancing organizational accountability and commercial success, and accelerating outcomes for the Phase-in Phase-out Program

  • Dynamic Customer Incentive Programs: Responsible for the creation and maintenance of impactful customer incentive programs that streamline business processes and drive rapid customer signings and implementation of next-gen solutions to accelerate the Phase-in Phase-out Program (PiPo)

  • Project Oversight and Optimization: Provides direction and leadership, overseeing activities, budget, and planning; manages trade-offs in time, scope, and budget with stakeholder involvement to ensure project success

  • Risk Management and Communication: Manages investment decisions for profitability and resource optimization, while proactively communicating progress, risks, and support needs to key stakeholders and representing North America on the Global Team

  • NAM Leadership Liaison: Acts as the direct interface to leadership (GMs/Customer Area Heads/Functional Heads/ Franchise Heads/Marketing Leaders) of the US and Canada; represents North America on the Global Accelerated PiPo cross-functional team

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related business or scientific field.

  • You hold 5 years of business development, marketing or equivalent work experience (i.e. consulting)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous diagnostics sales experience is preferred

  • Understanding of laboratory operations, health systems, diagnostics business

  • Proficient in business planning, forecasting, and customer implementation readiness processes

  • Experience partnering with a sales organization and many cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of Roche's pricing strategy and contract terms and conditions

  • An analytical systems thinker who excels at breaking down complex data into clear strategies, crafting actionable plans that foster organizational accountability and enable exceptional results

  • Skilled in positioning Roche's total integrated solution to effectively retain the customer base and counter competitive threats

  • Demonstrates expertise in all aspects of program leadership - developing a project vision, strategy, RACI, evaluation, scope, project milestones, risk assessment and management strategies, and project investment requirements

  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills; able to influence multiple stakeholders to ensure business needs are met or exceeded

  • Demonstrates expertise in customer insights, financial acumen, value creation, business strategy, customer experience, market execution, and partnerships

  • Sought after coach, mentor, and teammate looking to create a fun & engaging culture

  • Ability to travel as dictated by business need

Location:

  • This position is based onsite in our Indianapolis campus.

  • No relocation benefits are provided for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $124,500 - $231,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
