STATUS: Full-Time, Regular, Non-Exempt, Hourly

REPRESENTATION: UAW Local 135

WORK LOCATION(S):

• 901 Broadway Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, and/or
• 1040 Eastern Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49508

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (American Seating Company utilizes eVerify to verify work eligibility)
• Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug-Screening & Background Check

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to follow instructions in manuals, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Trouble shooting.
• Ability to use the computer to locate parts and report labor.
• Dependable: Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Standing for entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to twist, bend, stoop as needed.
• Exposure to fiberglass.
• Safety glasses are required.
