*Description*
Our client is looking for a level 1-2 Desktop Support Specialist to assist with supporting their 1,000,000 Sq. foot ware house location is Memphis, TN. This person will function as a team member by providing in-person (i.e., at the deskside) Level 1 or 2 support for company associates and customers. This position has primary responsibility for providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for the Information Technology department as well as provide prompt and accurate hardware, network, and software support for the end-user community. This person will be doing a lot of Adds, moves, changes within Active Directory. They will also be responsible for creating and disabling accounts. A good portion of their day will be doing white glove support for end users along with following up on current and existing tickets. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *CompTIA A+ and / or Network+ certifications *ITIL certifications *Microsoft certifications *Microsoft Exchange *Office 365 and SCCM experience *Skills* Windows, Technical support, Office 365, O365, warehouse environment, Ticketing system, active directory, servicenow, imaging *Additional Skills & Qualifications* The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. *Five years or more providing Level 2 (or greater) deskside support in a Microsoft Windows environment *Experience providing service-desk-referred troubleshooting and support for major business applications and infrastructure assets *Documentation experience and skills *Superior written and verbal communication skills *Superior customer service skills, including ability to operate under stressful conditions, such as enterprise-wide outages, VIP and/or external customer demands, as well as heavy request volumes. *Deskside-centric IT service management experience *Experience developing end-user training aids/documents highly desired *Knowledge management experience highly desired *Must handle novel and diverse work problems on a daily basis. *Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. *Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure. *Must have a long attention span in order to listen to people, perceive the real problems, and bring issues to a successful conclusion. *Knowledgeable in office procedures, and able to answer questions in a professional and friendly manner. *Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written material, and articulate goals and action plans. *Ability to deal with criticism and work under pressure. *Ability to do simple math calculations, input data into the computer, and analyze data as requested. *Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people. *Is frequently called upon to handle difficult situations. *React favorably in all work situations. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
