Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position provides loan support at a high level of complexity and ability for Bank lending products and services within Wealth Private Banking, Premier Retail Banking and Premier Associate Banking customers. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of loan requests from Wealth, Premier and Associate Bankers. The focus of this position is ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This position also requires adherence to credit policy and general investment knowledge, securities based lending, the expectation to juggle multiple priorities requires advanced prioritization skills with a strong attention to details.


Responsibilities

  • Loan Portfolio Management - Management of a loan includes collection and review of financial data, providing proposals, application submission, obtaining payoffs and meeting all approval conditions. Review of documentation, confirmation of pledged collateral, booking and funding of loans while meeting tight deadlines. Prior to closing obtain missing approval and or confirm sufficient collateral for each loan.
  • Collaboration - Communicates clearly and effectively with borrowers, banker and all parties involved. Works closely with internal and external partners (bankers, underwriting, clients, and third party advisors to move loans through application to closing processes.
  • Business Expertise / Business Support - Acts as a resource in loan process/procedure and regulatory compliance of the complete lending process. Performs a variety of administrative and operational tasks to address associate, client, and third-party concerns.
  • Loan Booking and Funding - Ensures that all proper procedures are followed prior to loan funding. Initiate the booking of the loan, compete all financial requirements for each loan. Timely disbursements, collection and processing bank and 3rd party loan fees and resolving servicing or documentation issues that may arise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Specialty Lending, Portfolio Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Specialty Lending, Portfolio Management

Preferred Area of Experience: 4+ years Consumer Lending and/or Portfolio Management. Knowledge of securities based lendig
