Job Description
OUR TEAM: The Fermentation Team at Promega is responsible for cultivating microbial systems that drive the production of essential biomolecules for our life science products. We work in a well-equipped facility designed to support reliable, scalable fermentation processes that ensure high-quality output. Our team values collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement, striving to optimize fermentation techniques and maintain robust production workflows. We foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every team member's contributions are valued. Understanding the importance of work-life balance, we encourage a healthy and sustainable approach to success. If you are a detail-oriented scientist who thrives in a hands-on, team-based setting, we invite you to join us in driving fermentation excellence. YOUR ROLE: As a key member of our Fermentation Team, you will be responsible for executing fermentation production runs to support Promega's diverse product portfolio. Your primary focus will be on operating and monitoring bioreactors, preparing media, inoculating cultures, and maintaining strict process controls to ensure consistent, high-quality yields. You will perform in-process sampling and analytical assays to verify fermentation performance and product quality. Additionally, you will assist with troubleshooting production challenges and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handoffs between fermentation and downstream processing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in microbial fermentation while contributing to the reliable supply of critical biomolecules. CORE DUTIES: At Promega, we are committed to building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve and creating a culture where everyone belongs. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and encourage applications from all backgrounds, ensuring that employment decisions are made fairly and equitably. |
