Description Appraisal Desk position will work directly with the Appraisal Department team processing appraisal orders from entry through reception as well as assisting with any subsequent revision requests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include: * Responsible for organizing, tracking, and responding to appraisal requests in a timely manner. * Manage the data input from completed reports and updates from the third-party vendors. * Ensure Compliance with Regulations * Track progress of the appraisal orders and ensure the Appraisal Management Companies are performing up to expected service levels. * Serve as a liaison between the Appraisers, Lenders, Loan Officers, and Processors. * Follow up on borrower engagement and payment statuses. * Gather Market Data and Comparables: o Research sales data, market trends, and neighborhood statistics. o Select and analyze comparable properties for valuation purposes. Skills Mortgage lending, mortgage loan, mortgage operations, mortgage industry Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities): 1-2 years of Mortgage experience Excellent communication skills Excellent documentation and process mapping skills Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written communication skills Ability to adapt to change Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00/yr. - Health insurance - Life insurance - Disability insurance Additionally, you will be entitled to 2 Weeks of paid vacation for each year of employment in accordance with our usual policies. You will be entitled to 1 Week, paid, to be allocated for illness or personal business each year of employment in accordance with our sick leave policy, which may be modified from time to time.
