Production Control Specialist I

The Production Control Specialist is responsible for the coordination of writing up production orders, ordering material, helping in shipping/receiving and monitoring inventory requirements.

Responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, customer fill rates, and yearly physical inventories
• Creation of production orders and purchase orders
• Inventory transactions as required
• Ensure confirmations are accurate and delivery is on time
• Other duties as required by management
• Train as back up for shipping/receiving
• Kitting orders for production
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

• Knowledge in Inventory Management techniques & ERP systems
• Strong Team player
• Attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Other requirements as deemed necessary by management
• Quickbooks knowledge
• Shipping domestic and internationally

Education/Experience

High school diploma, or equivalent; 1-2 years in administration

Physical Requirements

Ability to operate office equipment such as a copier; ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; work in office setting; to lift up to 40 pounds.
