The Security Systems Technician applies specialized experience for the installation and maintenance of Integrate Electronic Security Systems (IESS) and video security systems to enable the physical security of facilities. Responsibilities:
- Independently complete assigned projects to install and maintain IESS equipment and software in response to service requests.
- Provide installation, periodic break/fix maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and removal of video system security cameras, recording devices, storage systems, cabling, and infrastructure support structure in response to service requests.
- Track and schedule lifecycle replacement or upgrades of devices and minor configuration changes as required.
- Report IESS and video system operational outages and status changes in the Daily Operational Status Report.
- Maintain stock of related IESS components to ensure an operational availability based on current architecture and deliver a monthly listing of components used for the previous month and current stock level of all related IESS components.
- Perform Quarterly IESS and CCTV Testing of systems.
- Maintain and update an IESS Sustainment Plan based on current architecture.
- Perform operator training for watch standers.
- Provide annual updates to equipment list and as built drawings.
- Assist other technicians and working on projects as assigned.
- Provide inputs to a monthly status report.
Requirements:
- TOP SECRET clearance, with eligibility for SCI required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field, or Associate's degree with six (6) years related experience.
- At least three (3) years of experience in security and video system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of various security systems and equipment including alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Compensation: The salary at Paragon is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 (USD).
