We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Engineer to lead the maintenance, installation, and configuration of next-generation cloud technologies. This newly established role will provide critical support for our current and future business needs, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environment.


What You'll Do:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support enterprise operations.
  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead complex system integration, testing, and evaluation to ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations, automation, and modernization initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices to safeguard critical business applications and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) engineering, deployment, and administration.
  • Strong expertise in cloud security, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Familiarity with networking, identity management, and database administration in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale IT environment with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Minimum Requirements

Oracle Cloud Engineer



  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
  • PLUS Seven(7) year of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Requires in-depth level of technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas


Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications



  • Knowledge of all infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and open source packages and solutions, virtual and cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS); infrastructure management tools and monitoring tools; solution sizing for hardware/software platforms; industry standard security requirements and designs.
  • Troubleshooting; installing and repairing PC hardware and software; advanced design, maintenance and repair of servers; applying creative solutions to business problems to ensure business needs are most effectively met; advanced information system configuration management
  • Ability to developing and write technical documentation; evaluate and test emerging technologies.

Major Accountabilities

1. Performs the most complex duties of the technical infrastructure team

2. Leads architecture, design, analysis, implementation, and operations of infrastructure

3. Develops, recommends, and implements complex infrastructure solutions

4. Leads the planning, designing, and execution of testing

5. Ensures infrastructure scalability and security within the organization

6. Reviews plans to manage the frequency of support package/patch application

7. Applies highly developed specialized knowledge and skills in Infrastructure to define improvements for increased reliability and performance

8. Evaluates and tests emerging technologies

9. Recognized as the most experienced and knowledgeable infrastructure engineer within the organization

10. Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within field of infrastructure engineering

11. Typically responsible for managing major/complex projects across the enterprise at this level, involving delegation of work and review of infrastructure engineering projects

Home Based: Home based employees primarily work from their home offices and come into an APS facility on an as-needed basis.

*Employees are expected to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees).
