Exciting Opportunity for a LPN/RN Clinical Applications Specialist in Buffalo, NY! Are you a Nurse (LPN/RN) with a passion for technology and healthcare systems? We are seeking a LPN/RN Clinical Applications Specialist who will bridge the gap between clinical expertise and healthcare technology! Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset for candidates. Position Overview:
The Clinical Applications Specialist (LPN/RN) will be responsible for supporting clinical applications working collaboratively with facility and corporate management staff representatives to ensure computer and software education needs are met for all staff members.
- This is a hybrid position; remote work coupled with office and site travel (as needed).

Responsibilities
LPN/RN - Clinical Applications Specialist:
- Assists in the development of, and adheres to, policies and procedures for the technical support of clinical systems in accordance with HIPAA and all other applicable regulatory agency requirements.
- Supports EMR configuration and rollouts with clinical expertise.
- Assesses and helps to resolve issues with existing clinical applications.
- Performs on site clinical application trainings and project rollouts
- Attends internal or external meetings related to project work.
- Performs work in cross-functional teams.
- Creates test scenarios for EMR systems, executes such tests, evaluates results, and provides recommendations.
- Gathers input and assists with developing policies and procedures for clinical system users.
- Assists with producing technical literature and process documentation.
- Generates various reports to ensure compliance and for periodic audits.
- Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.
- Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times.
- Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.
- Supports and abides by Elderwood's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- May be needed to serve in a clinical care capacity during times of crisis/emergency management.
- Abides by Elderwood's businesses code of conduct, compliance, and HIPAA policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, management staff or Administrator.
LPN/RN Clinical Applications Specialist - Skills/Competencies

Qualifications
LPN/RN - Clinical Applications Specialist:
- Credentialed RN or LPN
- Minimum of five (5) years of work-related experience with EMR applications
- EMR training & configuration experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide hands on technical support in a classroom or facility user environment
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service
- Travel required to assigned facilities, including overnight
- Current, valid driver license
