Goal of Organization: Every Student Learning Growing ... Succeeding. MNS co-curricular programming provides learning opportunities in the classroom, community and in various athletic venues. Competing in athletics and participating in activities is a privilege that students earn by maintaining academic standards and good conduct in the school and greater community. We aim for impeccable customer satisfaction while working to set others up for success while ensuring compliance with governing bodies.
General Duties and Responsibilities: *Security - Enforce all building/district rules and policies, specifically, closed campus policy and all parking lot regulations. Move through facilities to ensure building is secured, lock/unlock doors for authorized groups, and report any irregularities or issues to the MNS administrator. *Systems - Working Knowledge of: Infinite Campus, Google, Microsoft Office Suite, rSchool, MNS Keys, Phones *Service - Main point of contact for the activities office after standard school day working hours *Facility Use - Main point of contact for the facility use calendar, facility requests, coordinates with B&G + Ops/Compliance to ensure MHS groups gain first priority to facilities. Assure MNS approval for vehicle use *Event Planning - Assist & Support w/ Club Fair, Fair at the Fields, Winterizer, Scholar-Athlete Ceremony *Documentation - Assist office manager and bookkeeper with record keeping and updating records *Contracts - Oversight on facility reservations. Assist office manager & bookkeeper with bussing, vans usage. *Permitting - Work Permits + Monthly Report (WI), Assist with MHS Student Parking Permits as needed *Calendar Creation & Communications - Website event calendar, 1Warrior Nights, special events etc *Online Registration - Assist and provide support to our registration processes. *Scheduling Management - Lead all rSchool management of activities; facilities calendar building. *Scholar-Athlete Ceremony - Collaborate on Eligibility, certificate creation, event set up, take down, and hosting *Evening Staff Operations/Tickets - event staffing coordinate workers for game management, table workers, etc. Train ticket workers on procedures for checking into events. Main point of contact during events, meet with officials prior to event/game, check in with custodians with any changes to set up and ensure MHS Activities protocol is in place, and assist with Key distribution and records for all *Communications - update website information, Utilize a variety of technology/digital communication *Historical Records - Collaborate on Champions (conference, regional, sectional, state) - help relay to the superintendent, district media personnel, and yearbook advisor. Efficiently organize and maintain various files * Summer Facilities & Natatorium - Communicate and collaborate with coaches and other renters to compile a schedule for auxiliary summer programming and natatorium yearly schedules *Transportation Oversight - Collaborate with office manager & bookkeeper to work with bus company on bus confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling for sports *Concessions Collaboration - Coordinate with booster clubs/parents for inside concessions room usage, share decision-making with the MNS concessions coordinator *Seasonal Commitments - Duties as assigned by Activities Director or Operations & Compliance Manager *Uphold our Mission - "Every Student Learning, Growing ...Succeeding" & Sell the Vision: "District of Choice in WI" *Brand Marketing - Help tell our story and promote our 1Warrior image throughout the school & community *MNS Public Figure - Awareness that this position is a public figure and must uphold our values 24/7 Skills: Display strong communication, motivational and organizational skills; ability to manage projects independently from outset to completion. Team-building abilities and working in a collaborative environment are essential. Should be able to draw staff together to achieve the same goal and work off of the same plan. Positivity is essential to success. Core Skills Physical Ability - Be able to remain in a stationary position and also move about inside and outside the office. Ability to move and transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outside and withstand variable weather conditions. Tech Savvy - Strong working knowledge of technology and possess the ability to use Google and its applications for communication and collaboration Language & Reasoning - Define problems and create solutions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various information; to communicate, both orally and in writing, with a diverse audience, including students, parents/guardians, staff, and the community. Display high regard for maintaining confidentiality Continuous Improvement Professional Collaboration - Continually work to build the RBA with our activities office staff Student/Staff Feedback - Be accepting of feedback, listen w/o infringing on the confidentiality of honesty Self-Reflection in all phases - The most important component of improvement comes from within Development of Program - Communicate, Connect, Commitment, Care, Contagious, Community ... #1Warrior Performance Goal Setting - Based on findings and ongoing needs of the program - Established and Fulfill Professional Memberships Recommended American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP) International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association (WADA) National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security (NCS4) Reports to & Reviewed by: Athletic & Activities Director and/or Principal with management oversight by activities office manager (operations & compliance manager) Working Conditions: Exposure to Stress, Prolonged Irregular Hours (Seasonal), MHS = Collaborative Culture & Values Warrior's Way Mentality (Pride, Respect, Integrity, Humility, Responsibility). The noise level varies in the work environment depending on a given activity and venue.
