Starting Pay: $ 15.00/ Hour

Position Description:

Accurately describes items according to product listing guidelines including measurements, product information, and product flaws/damage for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Enters product information into listing software and chooses appropriate listing category, delivery methods and listing strategies to maximize revenue and decrease customer service inquiries. Writes content to describe listings and optimizing for online search. Ability to meet daily goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets or exceeds daily listing goals.
  • Ensures GCNA uses the most cost-effective method of shipping for each item.
  • Safeguards all GCNA property including donated goods. Reports any suspicious behavior, incidents of theft or unauthorized possession/removal of GCNA property.
  • Immediately advises supervisor of significant and unexpected problems. Communicates needs with other team members.
  • Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with internal customers.
  • Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
  • Takes accurate weight and measurements of products.
  • Lists products online describing each item accurately. Places notes in listing when necessary.
  • Moves items to appropriate staging area upon completion of listing.
  • Handles fragile items with care to avoid damage or breakage.
  • Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion. Cleans work area at the end of each day, following safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
  • Models Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Past experience in E-Commerce or similar experience preferred with general knowledge of jewelry, collectibles and/or electronics required, Excellent customer service skills, with effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong internet navigation skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 28 words per minute with a high-level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
