Come find out what Anritsu has to offer you! We are seeking a Business Development Manager for the East Coast Area. The ideal candidate can successfully identify customers expanding and Network communication business, including driving technical testing requirements, demonstrate test equipment, and help generate new sales revenue through customer usage of Anritsu Test instruments. Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for expanding Anritsu Optical Transport and Fiber Optic Solution portfolio business efforts into new and existing accounts.
- Responsible for Optical Transport and Network communication market needs, portfolio positioning to key customers in this segment and conveying clearly required business KPI's to Product Management to align with customers and ensure business success.
- Maintain and grow key relationships within Hyperscale, enterprise Data Center and submarine network eco-system, including but not limited to private enterprise, cloud services, fed/government, healthcare and carrier network operators, associated supply chain, key vendors and partners.
- Manage pre-sales communication and qualification activities with the Sales Team and Product Management/Marketing for the Data Center Interconnect and Network Test Solution product portfolio.
- Identify KPI's associated with growing Data Center Interconnects and submarine Network Test Solution business; develop strategies and partnerships in collaboration with the Product Business Unit.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and influence technical and business stakeholders across all management levels both internally and externally.
- Assist sales team members in pre-qualification of key Data Center Interconnect and Submarine Network Test Solution opportunities.
- Assist Business Unit, Product Marketing and Regional Marketing with development and execution of FY Promotional Plans for the Data Center Interconnect and Submarine Network Test Solution portfolio and key technologies including creating marketing content (i.e. Application Notes, White Papers, Press Releases...).
- Maintain a clear understanding of current customer requirements and market trends and effectively communicate trend information on a regular basis to Senior Management and Business Unit Product Management.
- Provide long term vision for product development to the Business Unit in order to drive long term multi-year growth.
- Represent Anritsu at Data Center Interconnect and Submarine Network Test Solution industry organizations and events, such as SuperComputing, Ethernet Alliance, Cisco Re:Invent and DataCenter World.
Requirements:
- U.S Citizen preferred due to onsite customer visits that require U.S citizenship.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Knowledge of or experience in Optical Fiber Test environments preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience with Test and Measurement equipment, such as Anritsu, EXFO or Viavi test equipment including OTDR, Ethernet testers, Inspection Probes, and BERTs.
- Knowledge of or experience with Fiber Optics, Ethernet, WAN/LAN transport, Routing Networks
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to create and present technical solutions and business value propositions to multiple levels and functions within an organization.
- Documented written communication skills to include technical research or white papers.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- This is a field job and candidate must be capable of driving a company vehicle and transporting test equipment to/from customer sites.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestic and 10% International.
