What You Will Do:

As a Driller, you will be at the forefront of geotechnical projects, taking on a role that is both physically demanding and highly impactful. This isn't just a desk job, it's a hands-on, outdoor role where you'll be coordinating drilling operations with minimal supervision from the operations manager or senior driller. • Field Sampling: Dive into the field, reviewing logs, samples, and data collected by your team. You'll be the bridge between the field crew and management, ensuring clear communication and accurate data reporting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Keep your equipment in top shape. You'll oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensuring everything is in good working condition and ready for action.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality. You'll ensure all drilling functions, including quality control and verification, are performed according to standard methods, project specifications, and contract documents.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the daily activities of your driller assistants on medium to large projects. You'll communicate field conditions and job progress to management and professional staff daily.

This position requires being open to working outdoors year-round, and the desire and ability to travel with paid hotels and per diem.
