Manager- Single Family Programs The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) was established in 1974 to better respond to the County's need for affordable housing. HOC is authorized to acquire, own, lease, and operate housing; to provide for the construction or renovation of housing; obtain financial assistance from any public or private source to assist its housing activities; and arrange for social services, resident services, and daycare. Job Description: The Single Family Programs, Manager is a senior-level professional position with responsibility for managing multifamily operations of the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. This position is responsible for supporting wealth creation in Montgomery County through HOC's Strategic Plan. The incumbent is responsible for managing the operations of the single-family program operations. The single-family operations include the management of the Mortgage Purchase Program, down payment assistance programs, and coordinating the activities with Compliance, Legal, and Finance. The incumbent will have extensive knowledge of single-family mortgage programs, taxable and tax-exempt bond financing processes, and the underwriting and servicing of single-family mortgages. The incumbent will be responsible for the development and presentation of materials for various meetings, including but not limited to the Commission and committees of the Commission. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reports as required. Example of Duties:
