Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost-effective hazardous wastes material management and removal services. Our services include Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Environmental Construction, and Specialty Technical Services. Environmental Restoration will be hosting a 40 Hour Hazwoper Class at Warminster, PA April 21st - April 25th. 8am-5pm. Attendance is mandatory to pass. This course will not be paid, but is free to attend. Everyone who completes the class will receive a 40hr hazwoper certificate. This course will meet the prerequisite to become either an Environmental Technician / Laborer; Truck Driver, Equipment Operator or Foreman for ER. This course will only provide the certificate, it is not a job guarantee. ER performs a range of tasks required for environmental cleanup operations to include but not limited to, tank cleaning, pipeline maintenance, manual remediation services, waste bulking, and/or demolition services, in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Environmental Technicians / Laborers will work on-site at project locations which typically include abandoned warehouses, buildings or outdoor areas. The work environment is usually dirty, dusty, and noisy, containing hazardous or potentially hazardous substances and/or materials and is subject to inclement or extreme weather conditions. Work includes handling hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment. The applicant must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends. Frequent travel is required. Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, sample collection, waste removal and other remediation services Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear Operate routinely used tools and equipment Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance Hazardous Waste Operations Have an excellent driving history JOB REQUIREMENTS Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam. Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify) Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments. Able to wear a respirator Able to work in confined spaces Regularly lift and carry 50 pounds Construction industry experience, environmental experience, hazardous waste experience and certification (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER), Class "A" CDL, heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience a plus.
