BIM Coordinator

NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Coordinator in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) Projects.
• Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for install.
• Produce and update electrical power and lighting drawings as required for design.
• Manages project work and assigns BIM Technicians work as needed
• Responsible for project schedules between BIM, Field, Trimble, and Prefab
• Collaborate with internal teams, managers, and external clients to deliver CAD/BIM support.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs and inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in BIM coordination, construction experience preferred
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service support skills
• Familiarity with Evolve Electrical add-ins is a plus
• Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) is preferred
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and complex technical documents
• Strong time management
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects
• Analytical mindset for reading and understanding specifications and submittals
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
