Forcepointis looking for a Thought Leadership and Brand Strategist who desires a career path with a purpose. Based at our headquarters in Austin, Texas, the Thought Leadership and Brand Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Forcepoint's brand thought leadership strategy for internal and external global audiences. As Thought Leadership and Brand Strategist you will elevate our company's position as an industry authority and trusted voice in cybersecurity. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive thought leadership strategy, strengthening brand credibility, and driving engagement with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller with a deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, a strong network in the industry, and the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives. The Thought Leadership and Brand Strategist reports to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing. This role is based in Forcepoint's Austin, TX headquarters. Key Responsibilities Thought Leadership Strategy * Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy that positions Forcepoint as a data security innovator and authority. * Identify key industry trends, threats, influencers and opportunities to shape the company's perspective and messaging. * Partner with executives, researchers, and product leaders to craft insightful content and commentary on emerging cybersecurity topics. Content Development & Brand Storytelling
* Develop executive positioning strategies and ghostwrite content for key leaders. * Collaborate with marketing, PR, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels. Industry Influence * Build relationships with influencers and cybersecurity communities. * Shape strategy and narratives for speaking engagements and panel opportunities for company executives. * Monitor competitive and industry developments to identify opportunities for proactive engagement. Brand Strategy & Awareness * Lead the evolution of Forcepoint's brand positioning and ensure messaging aligns with business goals and industry trends. * Oversee brand marketing initiatives including tone of voice and campaign execution. * Ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external communication touchpoints. Metrics & Performance * Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of thought leadership and brand initiatives. * Analyze content engagement, media reach, and brand perception to refine strategies. * Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the impact of thought leadership efforts. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
