We're looking for a reporter with the skills to break news and get scoops on one of the most important policy and agency-driven beats around. You will cover the biggest tax stories of the day, focusing on the Treasury Department, it's role in shaping tax policy, and its intersection with the IRS. You will get sourced up with major players in the tax world to write daily and feature news stories exploring how companies are grappling with and navigating new rules and regulations. You'll also dig into tax enforcement, looking at the interplay of the IRS and Department of Justice Tax Division.
