Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Maintenance Work Integration Manager in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

This position integrates all facets of work scope, from scope identification through field execution, to ensure company goals and commitments are identified in the schedules and executed in the field according to Navarro-ATL priorities. Ensures that facility managers, planners, and other support organizations have the latest schedule information and priorities to maximize production. Integrates work scope identification to efficiently utilize resources with other tasks, plant conditions, and outages. Coordinates with other work teams and activities to ensure company resources are utilized to maximum productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Under management direction, this position is responsible and accountable for the integration of work activities performed at 222-S by Maintenance, Operations, and Construction in a safe and compliant manner that ensures work is scheduled in a timely manner and schedule slippage is minimized.

  • Ensure all work is to be performed in a manner consistent with applicable Technical and Environmental Safety Requirements utilizing approved policies and procedures while implementing Integrated Safety Management and Conduct of Operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is properly prioritized, planned, resource loaded, and integrated with other line organizations.
  • Authority to set schedule expectations and drive performance to effectively manage Navarro-ATL Maintenance milestones and commitments.
  • This position requires self-motivation, ability to influence change, strong leadership skills, and excellent organizational and communication skills and must have strong command and control while dealing with support organizations. This position requires a high ability to manage time effectively and multi-task.
  • Ensure that work scheduled to be completed during assigned work weeks have been communicated to other organizations within the company that have interface or impacts associated with that work.
  • Determines Maintenance work priorities based on Facility Operations, Analytical Operations and Construction activities, milestones, PBIs, PM due dates, corrective maintenance, emergent work, facility outages/shutdowns, etc.
  • Ensures work schedules, Plan of the Week, and Plan of the Day activities are conducted in a manner consistent with management expectations (timely, informative, and effective).
  • Provides direction and input to Work Week Scheduler (WWS) and Expeditor, and reviews Navarro-ATL Daily Release Sheets, Resource Sheets, work schedules, and Plan of the Week as needed.
  • Must understand the goals and commitments for the company, and work with Analytical Operations, Engineering, Construction and Work Planning to prioritize and integrate maintenance activities.
  • Integrate support organizations to ensure timely deliverables are received as appropriate. Interface with other company organizations to ensure work is scheduled properly.
  • Communicate with the WWS and interface with other Hanford Site Contractors as needed to ensure work is scheduled properly.
  • Comply with Navarro-ATL policies and procedures.
  • Ensure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Grade 19:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 8-9 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Grade 20/21:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 10-12 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the Rolling Work Week scheduling process, work control, lock out tag out and scheduling programs such as Primavera (P6).

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

Compensation:

Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775

Grade 20: $129,063 - $162,688

Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.

In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
