Description

The position of Construction Contracts Manager is vital to the success of our business. Contracts Managers support our sales, design and project management teams by managing our construction contracts. This includes preparing and maintaining documentation to keep the division eligible for projects and by managing our business system to allow accurate reporting to leadership. Contracts Managers enable our sales, design and project management team to focus on their relevant high-impact tasks in the field, accelerating our business success and ensure continuity of growth.

You will work closely with every role in our sales organization, and act as conduit for of critical information.

Specific Responsibilities:



  • Business System Administration
  • Maintenance and upkeep of our internal business system, Khameleon;
  • Issuance of purchase orders for materials and construction labor.
  • Work with account managers to keep revenue numbers up to date during changing construction projects.
  • Upkeep of vendor management in business system.
  • Create reports for leadership'
  • Provide invoices for account managers/send out invoices to clients.


Contract Management



  • Manage general contractor pre-qualification requirements and keep pre-qualification documents up to date.
  • Work with corporate resources to maintain safety documentation, financial information, and other relevant documentation for contracting.
  • Review contracting documents.
  • Manage Change Order process in collaboration with account managers and project managers.
  • Manage application for payments, including maintenance of schedule of values, lien waivers, and other documentation related to pay application.
  • Compile, manage, and track vendor chargebacks forms with our vendors.

Qualifications

  • A 4-year college degree or similar education, preferred.
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to maintain oversight over many concurrently active projects and contracts.
  • The ability to work with the highest level of accuracy.
  • A strong grasp of finances and financial accounting/math.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work the occasional late hour.
  • Excellent team player and communicator
