Position Overview:
As part of the North
America Sales Department, the Lead Specialist for Laerdal Medical is an
intricate part of the lead generation strategy to support sales growth. Digital marketing campaigns will be the
primary source of leads that Lead Specialist will prequalify to ensure high
quality leads are passed on to the sales team to close. Lead Specialist will also be required to
acquire new leads by targeting prospecting and outbound call/emails.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Conversion:
- Drive revenue by converting leads into sales and achieving annual targets.
- Manage the lead funnel, ensuring timely follow-up to move prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
- Focus on warranty renewals to generate additional business.
Customer Engagement & Communication
- Educate leads on Laerdal solutions and their value.
- Utilize structured engagement strategies to nurture leads toward a purchase decision.
- Ensure prompt, professional follow-up with all marketing-generated leads.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with marketing to align lead generation efforts with digital campaigns and sales objectives.
- Work closely with Territory Managers and Regional Directors to coordinate sales strategies and ensure seamless lead handoff.
- Assist in developing sales enablement tools such as content, videos, and email templates.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead nurturing strategies.
CRM & Data Management
- Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage accounts, and streamline sales processes.
- Analyze lead pipeline reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Brand & Values Alignment
- Maintain alignment with Laerdal's mission and values in all customer interactions.
- Ensure a consistent and professional approach to lead engagement and sales support.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate must be willing to work CT time-zone to align with supporting the Midwest sales region
- At least 2 years' experience in sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or marketing support in a medical or life sciences environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree with 5 years of sales experience is acceptable.
- At least 1 year in a professional selling role.
- Strong communication abilities and ability to build rapport quickly via phone and email.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CRM Systems and webinar software is a plus
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Salary Requirements: $55,000 - $60,000, additional $35,000 at 100% to plan
