Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Digital Media Specialist to work hybrid from our City Center location in Newport News, VA.

Job Summary:

Assists in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies aligned with Langley's business goals. Creates and implements marketing assets across various digital channels, including paid search, social media, streaming and more. Drives Langley's digital presence to new heights through development and implementation of online campaigns. Contributes to the creation of digital marketing assets in collaboration with the marketing and graphics teams.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Formulates and executes digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms that align with overall marketing and business goals. This includes pay-per-click (PPC) ads, programmatic/display ads, social media ads, streaming ads, video ads, and in-app digital banking alerts.
  • Develops engaging and relevant content for various organic and paid channels, including paid search, social media, and websites.
  • Gathers and analyzes data on digital traffic, online behaviors, audience funnels, and conversion rates within Langley's digital platforms.
  • Monitors performance of digital advertising campaigns and adjusts strategies
  • Prepares regular reports detailing key performance indicators and insights for the marketing
  • Implements best SEO practices to improve Langley's online visibility and ranking in search engine results.
  • Develops A/B test campaigns to identify best-performing creative and
  • Collaborates with Marketing Generalists to strategize initiatives and ensure alignment of digital media efforts.
  • Researches and keeps up to date on industry news and competitor pages for latest trends, tools, and current best practices.
  • Works with the Digital Analyst to compile data from digital analytical tools, including Google Analytics, Meta insights, etc., into larger integrated marketing
  • Manages and maintains relationships with existing digital media vendors to optimize services and explore opportunities for improvement.
  • Works with the Web Developer to implement website changes and
  • Works closely with the Graphic Designer on the development and curation of graphics for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Assists in photo & video shoots for marketing campaign


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related field required.
  • One to three years of marketing-related experience required, including:

    • Ability to use a combination of creativity, technical skills, and strategic thinking to navigate the digital marketing landscape.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing fundamentals, including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media marketing, programmatic/video marketing, and analytics.
    • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads Manager, and marketing automation tools (i.e. Buffer, HubSpot).


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for content writing and collaboration with cross- functional teams.
  • Intermediate skill with project management systems (i.e. Jira) and/or graphic design tools (i.e. Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
