We are looking for an Instructional Designer II for our client a global tech company in Austin, Texas. Details: 12 Month Contract Hybrid (onsite - Tues/Wed/Thurs) Must be based in the Austin Metro area for consideration The Instructional Design Specialist II designs and develops self-guided and instructor-led learning experiences for global audiences. Skills & Qualifications Utilize consultation skills, needs analysis, time management, and course development skills. Can work collaboratively with project team, SMEs, and stakeholders. Technical writing, curriculum and course development. An ability to work independently with minimal direction Experience writing content for a variety of audiences. 3 - 5 years of experience designing and developing learning materials Knowledge of learning technologies (LMS, LCMS, etc.) and ability to master new technologies quickly Experience designing and developing blended-learning solutions including, multi-media scripts, and action learning experiences. Ability to design effective and engaging learning solutions Strong organizational and project management skills Knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies for classroom based, self-guided and virtual training High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues Ability to face complex problems and identify creative solutions Project-management skills with superb attention to detail and deadlines. Strong writing and communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strategic thinker who can be inventive, creative, and committed to results The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $45.00-47.88 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
