Job Summary |
The position in the
JTV Large Animal Teaching Hospital is responsible for assisting with the daily care of farm animal species, non-equine, daily herd checks, and feeding of all non-equine animals owned by the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Essential Functions |
This position would be primarily weekends and holidays. The role of this position is to provide daily care for university owned animals, non-equine, by following written and oral directions on proper feeding and care of bovine (beef and dairy), ovine, caprine, and camelid species. Inspect and clean automatic waters on a routine basis. Properly operate routine farm equipment, tractors,
ATV, trucks to transport feed and hay as needed. Assist with the movement of farm animals between pastures, either on foot or with a truck and trailer. |

Work Hours |
Sat - Sun 6:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. This is primarily a weekend/holiday position. |
