Staffmark is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for a growing equipment rental and sales company in Calera, AL. If you have experience with electrical systems, diagnostics, and hydraulics, and take pride in quality work, apply today for this direct-hire opportunity!

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 6 AM - Finish | Monday - Friday

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:



  • Service a range of equipment, including diesel engines and machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards



What We're Looking For:



  • 3+ years of verifiable diesel/mechanic/shop tech experience (prior experience in a rental machine company preferred)
  • Experience with manual lifts, reach forks, scissors, and boom lifts
  • Electrical, diagnostics, and hydraulics expertise
  • Familiarity with equipment brands like CAT, Kubota, Cummins, and Perkins
  • A valid driver's license and a solid work history
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
