- Manage large, complex Distribution Management software engagements in the insurance domain space.
- Work closely with all parties involved in implementation or cloud migration programs to effectively identify, coordinate, and manage all tasks.
- Review customer business processes and goals, identify improvements and advise/ participate in the discussion of business requirements.
- Provide guidance to customers on how to best leverage Majesco applications and technology to meet customer defined business goals and objectives.
- Work with Majesco product management/development to share configuration concepts and further develop our core product features.
- Preference given to candidates that have 15+ years of experience leading and managing enterprise software implementation teams (or team tracks) within a corporate IT or consulting environment.
- Deep industry knowledge of the insurance industry with primary focus on Distribution Management.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations for implementing MAJESCO Distribution Management Product.
- Ensure architectural adherence through solution blueprint and design reviews.
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirement gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations.
- Lead review sessions for completed business/technical requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval.
- Responsible for implementing Majesco Distribution Management products utilizing enterprise application utilities and models.
- Provide architectural strategy and subject matter expertise.
- Ability to analyze critical customer problems, provide first-level analysis and guidance to developers on fixes
- Must be comfortable with a remote/in-office hybrid culture.
All About You
- Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 3-4 years of experience on technology implementations such as Guidewire, Duckcreek, Insurity etc; preferably leading overall solution design.
- Experience working on enterprise Distribution Management implementations leveraging agile and understanding of agile tools and concepts.
- Consulting & Leadership Skills - Ability to adapt to various work settings and serve in an advisory/leadership role.
- Experience with software implementation project(s) in requirement gathering, functional specifications, QA, user acceptance testing, or training.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in design & development experience with Oracle or other RDBMS
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on design & development experience with object-oriented programming in JAVA technology stack
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on design & development experience with SOAP/REST API
- Exposure to managing non-functional requirements (NFR) - performance, security, and availability
- Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps/DevSecOps, Scaling, Deployment and Automation; Cloud Exposure - MS Azure/AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira
- Understanding of a project life cycle methodology.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to determine the best solution for a complex problem.
- Demonstrate Problem Solving & Decision-Making skills.
- Familiar with architecture frameworks and software design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree or global equivalent required; TOGAF and/or Agile Product owner certification is a plus.
What Majesco Offers: Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US.
