If you join us, you will work with some of the worlds leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.

We are seeking a global head of pharmacokinetic science services. In this role, you would provide both scientific and administrative leadership for a team of ~20 PK scientists based in North America, Europe, and South Asia whose primary remit is non-compartmental analysis and associated reporting. As a scientific program director, it will also be incumbent on you to set and implement the strategy for revenue and margin growth for the global PK business, including new scientific service offerings and productivity enhancements. This will also be an opportunity to hone your communication and business development skills as a key member of the client engagement team.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Manage a global team of PK Scientists
  • Create and implement the strategy for revenue and margin growth for the global PK business
  • Interact and collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure successful project
    delivery. To include, but not limited to:
    o Acting as a source of expertise on all Pharmacokinetics processes.
    o Fulfill the role of a study Pharmacokineticist, reviewing study designs, having input
    into Statistical Analysis Plans, performing PK/PD manipulations, and providing a full
    and accurate interpretation of data.
    o Represent Pharmacokinetics in internal and external audits.
    o Provide scientific review of PK data analyses and interpretation performed by staff.
    o Support business development for Pharmacokinetics, including:
  • Provide input into Requests for Proposals and Request for Information as
    appropriate.
  • Present at Sponsor bid defense meetings in support of CPS capabilities.
  • Visit clients at their sites of business to focus on future business and revenuegrowth
  • All other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacokinetics or another relevant Life Sciences discipline required.
  • PhD or MS degree in Pharmacokinetics or related field preferred.
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • At least 8 years of experience in pharmacokinetic analysis is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Possess proven knowledge of business and people management practices in a project team environment.

Pay Range:$140,000 - $170,000/annually
