Job Summary The Caltech Seismo Lab seeks a Research Technician Assistant who will assist in specialized sample preparation (micromanipulation) and measurements designed to understand terrestrial planetary cores. Essential Job Duties Assist in specialized nonhazardous sample preparation Assist in electron microprobe measurements and data analysis Document results with a written report, including suitable figures Assist in literature research Perform other related duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Micromanipulation of nonhazardous mineral samples Knowledge of scientific methods Self-motivated Required Documents Resume Hiring Range $18.50 to $24.75 per hour The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
