The University of Virginia Darden School of Business seeks a highly motivated professional to serve as a Research Specialist. The Research Specialist will work closely with Darden faculty members Jim Detert, Bobby Parmar, and Gabe Adams to support the research of the Experiential Leadership Development Lab and related projects. Primary duties involve supporting the design, execution, and analysis of one or more large, complex leadership skill development intervention studies. This includes standard research tasks such as conducting literature reviews and collecting and handling research data, but more specifically the unique aspects of this research - e.g., training and coordinating the actor pool used in study simulations, participant follow ups to ensure study continuation over a three-month study period, using Biopac hardware and Noldus software to collect and manage participant physiological data. This is a one-year limited position with benefits. This position is located in-person in Charlottesville, VA, though hybrid work may be arranged during non-data collection periods.
