Job Title: Wealth Advisory Administrative Assistant

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Assistant with the Wealth Advisory Group, you will experience all aspects of German American Bank's culture and values while working with internal and external clients on issues that impact our business. With active engagement, you will provide general administrative assistance and support for multiple officers in the Wealth Advisory Group. You will assist with processing transactions, preparing internal and external reports, opening and closing accounts, and so much more.

What You'll Do:

Day in the Life - Your focus will be to assist the Wealth Advisors by assisting with client communication and transactions, such as answering incoming calls and correspondence, entering cash receipts, disbursements and transfers, as well as overseeing the transfer of incoming client account assets, ensuring a successful transition and client experience. You will utilize an eye for detail in scanning and filing client data, as well as preparing written correspondence, meeting materials for clients, and assist with preparation of monthly Wealth Advisory Administrative/Investment Committee Meetings, as well as quarterly Wealth Advisory Board Meetings, and other reports as needed. Daily you will review activities and appointments for Wealth Advisory personnel, coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and travel as needed. Strong organizational skills will come in handy as you coordinate various events and meetings by issuing information, coordinating set up, securing locations, food, etc. You will also demonstrate the ability to engage and teach as you cross train with other Administrative Assistants for coverage of all essential tasks.

What it Takes:

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Ability to: communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, and work independently and as a team member
  • Attention to detail; apply analytical skills and develop content

  • Working knowledge of TrustDesk Trust Accounting system
  • Bilingual/Multilingual
