Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Air Permitting and Compliance Consultant to undertake challenging work coordinating air-program compliance and permitting projects associated with the development, construction, and operation of varying industries. This role requires a deep understanding of air quality regulations. The candidate should also have a proven track record in consulting, providing expert advice and solutions to clients. Key responsibilities may include:
A successful person in this role is intrinsically motivated and emphasizes client service. They enjoy working independently and as part of a team, using their project management expertise and technical ability for a variety of projects. They are flexible in working with their project teams and are willing to occasionally modify schedules to meet project deadlines and/or client needs. This person also is relationship-focused, as the role involves serving both internal and external clients. Minimum Qualifications:
A hybrid or remote work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office; a remote arrangement refers to working primarily from a home office. This position can be based out of Barr's Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Bismarck, North Dakota; Duluth, Minnesota; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Hibbing, Minnesota; Jefferson City, Missouri; or Salt Lake City, Utah, office(s). Remote arrangements will be considered based on candidate qualifications, location requirements, and Barr's needs. Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000/year. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
