SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Portfolio provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness.

SPA has a near term need for an Information Technology (IT) Specialist located at Ft Belvoir. #MC



Responsibilities

The IT Specialist will support all aspects of Information Technology (IT) for business, financial, technical services, and other professional services projects. You will 1) Apply the knowledge and understanding necessary to resolve IT and system problems to meet assignments as scheduled and provides technical advice to IT, the client and other professionals, 2) Perform essential duties and responsibilities which may include assisting with strategic IT planning and working with other departments on IT related projects and systems, 3) Provide verification of operational status of government computer systems and related third party interfaces and complies with Federal regulations, policies, codes, and security and safety standards, 4) Support backup and disaster recovery, cyber security, monitoring, auditing, and compliance, troubleshooting and resolving end user support issues, and delivery of technology solutions, and 5) Apply experience supporting and managing cloud instances by utilizing elastic cloud computing for resourcing needs.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    BS degree with 10 Years of Information Technology experience
  • DoD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • DoD 5000/Acquisition experience
  • PEO Soldier Experience
