Job Description: Summary The Technical Sales Intern will work directly with the organization's Business Development team. role assists with developing marketing strategies utilizing technical experience that aligns with organizational objectives, analyzes business development and monitors market trends to forecast profitability of products and services, and promotes product and services to new and existing customers. Responsibilities Assist with evaluating fleet utilization by equipment type and availability Analyze business development and monitor market trends to forecast profitability of products and services Gather, analyze, and interpret market research data Visit establishments to evaluate needs and to promote product or service sales Visit ProPetro frac locations to observe equipment, operations, and gain technical knowledge Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms internally to the business development team Shadow technical business development representative to understand the importance of utilizing operational experience to enhance business decisions Meet periodically with engineering group to gain technical knowledge and utilize that information for best business practices Provide an end-of-program presentation that demonstrates results of assigned project Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be actively enrolled in a BS/MS in Engineering or other closely related field Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (late May through early August) Able to physically work onsite in Midland, TX Able to work 12-hour shifts Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Has attention to detail; well organized Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
