Description Home HealthNursing For a limitedtimeMaineHealth is offering up to$10,000Sign onbonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of RNexperience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with 2 or more years of experience! * Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart timeRN position. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible. * CurrentMaineHealthmember employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthMembersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. ~ 40 Hours/week, Day shift ~ This position supports Cumberland County Why Home Care: Enjoy a less stressful pace of work, treating one patient at a time Case Manage a set number of cases Summary: Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. 3. Experience:The ideal candidate will have greater than one year of prior RN experience. Medical/Surgical or prior Home Care experience is preferred. 4. Basic knowledge of the research base, theory, practices, principles, and processes of professional nursing. 5. Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and health care team members. 6. Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in patients' conditions and to initiate appropriate action.
