Adjunct Instructor: Transformation through Intrapreneurship

Learning objectives for this course:

* Apply fundamental knowledge gained in MMM to Digital Innovation and AI course, examine opportunities for physicians to increase involvement in conception, development, and deployment of transformative organizational efforts

* Understand transformation integration challenges and the concept of "innovation burnout" in healthcare professionals

* Craft a group-based practice improvement plan leveraging technology

This is a core course in the Master of Medical Management program. It will incorporate relevant readings (textbook, research papers, news articles, etc.), in-class discussions, Canvas-based coaching of project work and appropriate evaluation of mastery of concepts for grading purposes ( participation and group project).


Qualifications


  • MD/DO degree
  • 5+ years of experience in technological/digital/informatics efforts
  • Strong background in change management
