SEMCO - Laborer (Port Huron) Position Summary This is a unionized role represented by the Utility Workers Local 473 union.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
Information for Applicants:
Working Conditions: Must be able to walk at least 10 miles per day in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, kneel, walk, climb, push, pull, lift, carry 20-50 lbs., twist, reach above and below shoulder levels, and do fine finger movements. Must be able to work in climates of extreme cold/extreme heat. Potential exposure to stinging insects/insecticides and possible requirement to be in the Respirator Program. The hourly pay rate for this role is $24.87 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. For Canadian hires: AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
