The Global Director of Corporate Real Estate plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's property assets. This dynamic position involves spearheading the acquisition, development, leasing, and disposition of prime real estate, while ensuring that the portfolio aligns seamlessly with ambitious business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive real estate strategy that supports long-term business goals by analyzing market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes, and collaborating with senior management to align real estate initiatives with corporate strategies.

* Portfolio Management: Lead all aspects of the management of the real estate portfolio, including owned and leased properties, ensuring efficient utilization of space, cost-efficiency, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and conducting regular reviews of the portfolio to find opportunities for improvement, consolidation, or expansion.

* Acquisitions and Dispositions: Identify potential acquisition opportunities that align with strategic objectives, lead negotiations for property purchases, leases, and sales to achieve favorable terms and conditions, and lead the due diligence process, including financial analysis, zoning, and environmental assessments.

* Development and Construction: Coordinate the planning, design, and construction of new facilities and renovations of existing properties, working with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

* Financial Management: Prepare and lead the annual real estate budget, including capital expenditures and operating costs; conduct financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions and project feasibility studies; monitor and report on the financial performance of the real estate portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities.

* Vendor Management: Manage key external real estate partners such as brokers, project managers, architecture and design firms.

YOU HAVE:

* Bachelor's degree in, finance, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.

* A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate real estate, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

* Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex real estate portfolios.

* History of successfully managing large real estate projects, including both industrial and office properties.

* Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and investment modeling.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* International real estate experience is desired.

* Experience or knowledge of corporate real estate systems and platforms.

* Ability to travel up to 10%, including international.

Pay Transparency:

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$175,000-$250,000

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives
