Summary:

We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Product Owner for IT Asset Management (ITAM), Automations, and App Engine. The ideal candidate will drive the strategic direction, design, and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advancements.

Purpose:

The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of ITAM, automation workflows, and custom applications within the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures seamless integration of these solutions with existing enterprise systems and delivers value to the organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Define the product vision and roadmap for ServiceNow ITAM (HAM & SAM), Automations, and App Engine.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions across ITAM and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders for process definitions, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/future-state.
  • Work closely with functional owners to get the demand and deliver in an agreed timeline.
  • Develop scoped applications on App Engine based on business requirements.
  • Provide automation solutions on ServiceNow platform for various business needs.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and workflow optimization.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
  • Manage backlog prioritization and sprint planning within an Agile framework.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvements in ServiceNow implementations.


Technical/Industry Experience:



  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Product Owner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM, Automations, and App Engine.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications.
  • Expertise in scripting, integrations, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands on experience on App Engine, Integration Hub, HAM & SAM modules on SN platform.
  • Experience in automating workflows and improving IT service management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise IT architectures is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of licensing models and software asset management best practices.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:



  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Preferred:



  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, HAM, SAM, Certified Application Developer, or similar).
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
