JOB SUMMARY

Monitors and supports cybersecurity operations for malicious activity; determines appropriate response action(s) to an incident, following common techniques, tactics and procedures; and analyzes and reports cybersecurity threats as well as assists in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions.

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Cyber Security Analyst I ($62,130 - $77,660)



  • Working knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of enterprise applications, networks and systems; and cyber security analysis and reporting normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in information security, Information Technology or related field


Cyber Security Analyst II ($71,460 - $89,330)



  • Working knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of enterprise applications, networks and systems; and cyber security analysis and reporting normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in information security, Information Technology or related field
  • Two years of current and progressive cybersecurity experience.


      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


      • Monitors cybersecurity tools for attacks, intrusions and unusual or unauthorized activity.
      • Investigates cybersecurity incidents and provides incident response analysis.
      • Generates analysis reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders.
      • Researches and evaluates current and emerging cybersecurity threats and ways to manage them.
      • Analyzes performance of cybersecurity processes and technologies and provides recommendations for continuous improvement.
      • Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation with the cybersecurity team.
      • Keeps abreast of emerging technologies related to assigned areas of responsibility and seeks ways to improve mitigation of threats.
      • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
