COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Our base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual starting salary will be based on a variety of factors including experience, skill set, education, performance, license/certifications, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Hourly Pay Range:

$17.75 - $26.15

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position has primary responsibility for the receiving of product and equipment into inventory, and the shipment of products and repair items to internal and external distributors and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Basic pick/pack functions within Finished Goods and RM/Production Support for shipment to internal production lines and/or external customers.
  • Basic receiving and put away functions within Finished Goods and RM/Production Support inventory.
  • Stock regular and/or bulk product and ensure inventory is in shipping condition.
  • Affix proper/required inventory/product labels and/or shipping information for receiving/put away and pick/pack/ship function(s) within Finished Goods and RM/Production Support.
  • Enter order transfers into the computer and/or handheld devices.
  • Complete assigned inventory cycle counts.
  • Transfer and consolidate inventory based on product storage requirements.
  • Insert operating instructions as necessary including product literature and attach labels.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
  • Operate power equipment to fulfill inbound and/or outbound material transfers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1-2 years previous shipping, receiving, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred or 1-2 years of warehouse/logistics experience at SICK.
  • Power Equipment (forklift, man-lifts, pallet jacks) experience required.

Other Qualifications:

  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Able to keep track of and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Able to operate small packaging machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
  • Able and willing to work alternative schedules including weekend, and on-call hours as needed.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Able to work in a general office environment.
  • Able to work on their feet 100% of the time
