The Sports Medicine Rehab Physical therapist is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with orthopedic and sports related injuries. The sports medicine team members report to the rehabilitation manager as part of the OSU Sports Medicine program structure. Minimum Education Required Required Qualifications All Rehab Team Members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board or the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions. All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution. Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred. Maintains professional licensure; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification. |
