Apply today! Position Summary: Residential Counselors are responsible for supervising and providing crisis counseling and support services for men in a residential therapeutic community. These services are provided both at the treatment center and in traveling with the clients in the community on recreation activities, on community service activities and recovery meetings. The MRC servesmen who are recovering from substance use disorders in a residential setting. This is a dynamic position in a team-oriented environment. Environmental Conditions: Work is performed in a residential treatment center. Must be prepared to handle client crises and/or emergencies. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a relief, on-call position. Hours vary. This position is part of the bargaining unit that is represented by AFSCME Council 75.
