Description

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join the Human Resources team at our North American Headquarters in Florence, KY. The Recruitment and Training Coordinator manages the full cycle recruitment process and supports the facilitation of the new hire orientation and onboarding processes for Mazak USA. This position also coordinates training for Mazak associates to ensure compliance with Federal - EEOC, OFCCP - state laws and regulations as well as ISO requirements. This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Proactively ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

* Own and manage the recruitment process for full-time and temporary Production roles from start to finish, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

* Serve as the primary liaison between staffing agencies and internal teams to recruit, onboard, and coordinate start dates for temporary associates.

* Conduct pre-employment background checks and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for all new hires.

* Own the pre-employment process, including offer letters, drug screenings, and other required documentation.

* Support the facilitation of the New Hire Orientation and Onboarding process for all new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.

* Attend and actively participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and other activities to attract qualified candidates for open roles.

* Maintain an up-to-date roster of contractors and temporary associates, ensuring clear and accurate tracking of their status and assignments.

* Coordinate and track all HR-mandated training for employees throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and ISO requirements.

* Assign, track, and report on training progress in the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure compliance with EEOC, OFCCP, state laws, and regulations.

* Collaborate with department managers and HR teams to identify and address ongoing training and development needs.

* Monitor, initiate, and document all required training for Mazak employees, ensuring that employees are properly certified and compliant with relevant regulations.

* Generate monthly reports to track compliance with new hires, terminations, and training requirements.

* Provide general administrative support to the SWP & Compliance team as needed.

Education/Certification:

* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Skills:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

* Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including EEOC, OFCCP, and other compliance requirements

* Experience in coordinating and tracking employee training, including knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.

* Previous orientation and onboarding experience is preferred.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
