Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities What We're Looking For: If you are experienced in network and system security administration, and think space is cool, then please keep reading! As a Senior Network Security Administrator, you'll be responsible for independently running critical security scans, analyzing results, installing updates, and general support for our government customer. Working in this role, you'll gain valuable experience working with cross functional teams in multiple departments while making a meaningful impact on Iridium's ability to provide highly available and secure systems to the US government. You'll be successful in this role if you enjoy learning and adapting to a fast-paced environment where you can use multiple skills to deliver high quality solutions. This position requires an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). What You'll Do:
Work independently to support day-to-day Iridium system and security integration, provide installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and general computing resource hardware, including VMware infrastructure, and extensive Linux operating system knowledge

Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer. For in-person lab work, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
