Your Role at Acousti

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with duties, performing tasks as needed, and ensuring the completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding job that requires operating warehouse equipment in a busy warehouse. The role involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights of up to 100 lbs repetitively throughout the shift. The Warehouse Driver must have an electronic device capable of receiving electronic route schedules and GPS. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work under minimal supervision, are required.

In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our company by ensuring efficient operations and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our dynamic team and play a key part in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring our high standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:



  • Maintain DOT and Acousti truck logs
  • Manage route schedule, deliver materials to multiple job sites, and load/unload materials on-site
  • Ensure a safe driving and working environment, including proper PPE usage
  • Communicate with management regarding delays or issues with deliveries and daily routes
  • Load, unload, and wrap stock on pallets
  • Build loads using forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Assist drivers with daily deliveries
  • Count and confirm inventory, perform rotational pulls, and down-stack products
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the warehouse
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code, and management directives, including fleet and safety policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager


What We're Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • Experience in a warehouse-related industry preferred
  • Valid CDL A / CDL B Driver's License
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Safe driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to pass a drug test


Education Requirements
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
