One of our partners in Evansville, IN is needing to add a Hardware Support Technician the has experience working with Raspberry Pi hardware devices for a onsite project that will be slated for three to six months.
*Location:* Evansville, IN *Rate:* $25/hr W2 *Top Skills' Details:* 1. Experience working with Raspberry Pi operating systems 2. Assembling Raspberry Pi units 3. Troubleshooting units with manufacturing staff - being able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff will be very appealing *Job Description* * This person will be responsible for assembling Raspberry Pi units to send out to facilities/manufacturing plants nationwide. * There is a batch of 200 Raspberry Pi units that need to be assembled to ship out - making sure connections/wires/units are all communicating and running. Expect 30/40 minutes per unit * There is another batch of 800 smaller Raspberry Pi units that need to be assembled to ship out - making sure connections/wires/units are all communicating and running. Expect 15/20 minutes per unit. * This person be doing lightweight lifting of units * Having light diagnostic/troubleshooting experience would be very nice. Before shipping units out to locations, they will test each batch for failure rates and expects 1-2% fail rate. They are hoping by doing this, it will eliminate the amount of issues/faulty units that need replaced. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
