Accounting Manager

Vaco has partnered with a Real Estate Company and they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for the Property Management division at the home office. Ideal candidate would have management experience but open to Senior backgrounds ready for the next step. Experience in real estate accounting is a must and yardi experience is ideal.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all financial records of the operating properties are maintained in accordance with GAAP
  • Full General Ledger responsibility - A/P and A/R transactions
  • Supervise all day to day transactions and staff
  • Insure all vendors are paid within 30 day cycle
  • Ensure billing
  • Respond to inquiries made by vendors/tenants
  • Train and supervise associates within the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
Education/Requirements:
  • B.S in accounting
  • Property management and/or residential construction experience a must
  • Excellent management/people skills (Open to Senior ready for next step)
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • Excellent mentoring skills
  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Excel and accounting software. Yardi Voyager and Quickbooks software a plus

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
