Knife River Idaho is looking for a motivated and experienced Welder/Fabricator in Idaho Falls.

Job Responsibilities:

This position will require you to be able to work both independently and as a team player. Travel will be required and working in extreme weather conditions should be expected.

We offer a full benefit package after 30 days which includes full medical, dental, vision and 401K.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must have 2+ years minimum of fabrication and millwright skills
  • Must be certified in vertical, horizontal, and overhead. Confined space training and forklift certification is a plus.


    Physical Requirements:



    • Requires walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
    • Requires the use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations.
    • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
    • Head movement/rotation moving head in any direction (up, down, side to side).
    • Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment
    • Exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
    • Exposure to outside working conditions; to cold or hot temperatures.
